  1. Log into your local server and launch Veeam Backup & Replication Console.

  1. Once the Veeam Backup & Replication Console loads.  Select “Backup Infrastructure” from the navigation bar on the lower left-hand corner.

  1. After clicking “Backup Infrastructure” you will see the contents in the upper left-hand portion of the navigation screen change.  There you can select “Service Providers” and you will then see your connection to the Veeam Cloud Connector listed in the workspace to the right.

  1. Right mouse button click the Veeam Cloud Connector listed and select “Properties”. Click “Next” two times without changing any information, then “Apply,” and “Finish

 

  1. Navigate to “Backup Repositories” there should be duplicate cloud repositories, one should display a red X.

 

  1. Click on the cloud repository that does not have a red X and Chose “Rescan”. The rescan can take some time to complete.

 

  1. Select “Home” from the navigation bar on the lower left-hand corner. Then select the “Backup Copy” located in the upper left-hand corner of the navigation bar.  This will display the current jobs within the workspace to the left.

 

  1. Right mouse button click the backup copy job listed and select “Edit”.

  1. A wizard will open. Click “Next” twice, which will bring you into the “target” portion of the wizard. Select the “Backup Repository” drop down and select the update repository target.  It should be listed as the second repository in the list.

  1. Click the “Map Backup” button and select the backup job you are currently editing. Select “OK” to continue.

 

 

  1. Click “Next” until you reach the “Summary” portion of the wizard. Ensure that the “Enable the job when I click Finish” checkmark has been removed.  Then click “Finish” to continue.

 

  1. Select “Backup Infrastructure” from the navigation bar on the lower left-hand corner. Then select the “Backup Repositories” located in the upper left-hand corner of the navigation bar.  This will display the current jobs within the workspace to the left.

 

  1. Right mouse button click the “Backup Repository” with the red X and select “Delete” to remove the invalid job.

 

  1. Navigate back to the Backup Copy jobs, then Right mouse button click the job and select “Sync Now”.

  1. Validate that the job is running successfully by monitoring the Summary Tab for the backup copy job you selected to sync.
